"Leave Without You" is another song I wrote right before the move to London. I had started to feel a growing distance between myself and my family that up until that point I hadn't realized was all in my head, and self-imposed. When I started to figure out that I was self-sabotaging I had a bit of a breakdown, and the idea for this song eventually came from that. I had to be real with myself and get it together before I left home. This song is an internal dialogue that I needed to have with myself so I could move forward.
